How ShopStack handles your data.

This policy covers the ShopStack app Restock & Price Drop Alerts. We respect shopper privacy and only use data to deliver the functionality you enable.

1) Who we are

The "Restock & Price Drop Alerts" app is provided by ShopStack ("we", "us", "our").

2) What we do

The app lets shoppers subscribe to back-in-stock and price-drop notifications on your Shopify store and sends those emails when conditions are met.

3) Information we collect

Shopper-provided: email address (and optionally name/target price) submitted via the widget.
Store data (from Shopify APIs): product and variant info, inventory levels, prices, shop domain, and app settings.
Technical: log data for error/debugging (timestamps, request IDs, non-PII diagnostics). We do not track shopper browsing behavior beyond the notification submission.

4) How we use it

Store shopper requests, match them to product/variant changes, and send the corresponding notification emails.
Maintain and improve the service, security, and fraud prevention.
Provide support to the merchant.

5) Sharing

Email delivery: sent via your configured email/SMS provider (e.g., MailerSend/SMTP). Recipient emails are shared only as needed to send notifications.
Infrastructure: trusted sub-processors for hosting, storage, and monitoring (e.g., cloud hosting/logging). We do not sell shopper data.

6) Retention

Subscriber entries are retained while the merchant keeps them or until deleted in the app/exported and removed.
Merchants can delete individual or all records; we delete logs on a rolling basis.

7) Your choices

Shoppers: every notification email includes an unsubscribe link; you can request deletion by contacting the merchant or info@magemen.com.
Merchants: you can delete subscriber records in the app and uninstall to stop further collection.

8) Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege credentials). No method is 100% secure.

9) International transfers

Data may be processed in the country of our hosting/sub-processors. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required.

10) Children

Not directed to children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their data.

11) Changes

We may update this policy and will post the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated where required.
